The Firehall

Originally constructed in 1887, Meaford's historic fire hall had served the community for generations before an ambitious redevelopment envisioned a completely new chapter for the building.

The transformation that became Station 87 Kitchen & Bar required more than creating a new restaurant. It meant adapting a heritage building to support a modern hospitality operation while respecting the character and history that made the property significant to downtown Meaford.

PlanForge Project Solutions contributed to the redevelopment as part of the broader project team, helping navigate the technical, design and/or development requirements necessary to move the project from concept toward realization.

Today, the restored building brings together multiple hospitality experiences—including a market, pub, upper dining room, rooftop patio and private wine cellar—within one of downtown Meaford's recognizable historic landmarks.
